This class is designed to review and build on skills already developed. Also, we want to introduce new “Life Long” activities. This is done through skill development and game activities. It is our goal to keep our students active during class time and try and find success in something that will stimulate a desire to stay active for their lifetimes.
Evaluation:
The student will be graded on the following criteria:
1. Level of participation in activity.
2. Cooperation with instructor and other students. 3. Change into proper clothing for activity.
Outcome:
The desired outcome is to stimulate the student to physical activities that they can incorporate into their lives now and into the future. Physical activity has been proven to be beneficial for one’s total health. Our country’s overall physical and mental health has slipped the past few decades. We are committed to make activities fun and simple to help our young people to develop the desired skills to remain active throughout their lives.
