Dear Parents & Families:
If your son or daughter is 4 years old by September 1st, 2024, they are eligible to attend 4-year-old kindergarten. However, 4-Year-Old Kindergarten is not required by the state of Wisconsin and therefore your child does NOT need to attend if you do not feel they are ready developmentally for any reason by the age of 4. They ARE allowed to start when they are five years old. We ask that you only send your child if you feel they are ready. Once your child is enrolled they will not be able to repeat, but instead will be moved onto Kindergarten. If you feel your child is ready for school please register online by February 29, 2024. We will be hosting a 4K Open House on Tuesday, February 20, from 4-6 pm. Please join us for Open House after you complete the online registration to meet the teachers, see the classrooms, talk about what 4K will look like, and finish paperwork.
By registering online your child will be signed up for the 4K program (Follow the 'How to Register for 4K' link to the right). It’s required by the state of Wisconsin, that the school verifies your child’s date of birth. We are not allowed to copy birth certificates, so please stop by our office, between the hours of 8:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m after you register online. Once you have completed online registration and your child's birth certificate is verified and you present proof of address, your child will be added on a class list. Information regarding your child’s class placement and orientation information will be sent out over the summer. Our 4K program runs Monday - Thursday. We have an AM session from 7:55-11:05 and a PM session from 12:00-3:10. We also offer bussing to all 4K students unless they are open enrolled. Please see the links below for further information. We will have copies of the 4K Registration Form in the office if you do not have access to a printer.
If you have any questions please email Mrs. Canfield by email or Mrs. Thomson by email you can also call 715-877-3331. We look forward to working with you next school year!
